About us



INGLAS was founded in 1995. In its early years INGLAS Innovative Glassysteme GmbH & Co has been developing and manufacturing innovative glass systems, electronics for technical systems, measuring devices and radio sensors.
Milestones in the company's history are electrochromic and electrically heatable glass, emissivity measuring devices and spark gap sensors.

Due to the division of the company into two companies focused on glass developments (INGLAS Produktions GmbH) and on electronic systems (INGLAS GmbH & Co.KG) in 2013, the product areas have become self - sustaining. IPS INGLAS GmbH & Co KG develops and manufactures sensor technology,controls for industry and infrastructure.

Our latest products

ImpactSentinel and HazardSentinel are the trademarks of products in environmental sensor technology. The sensors of these systems are network-connected, consume extremely low energy, and are therefore suitable for use in regions which are difficult to access. ImpactSentinel sensors e.g. monitor railway systems for rockfall and other environmental events and warn in real time.

HazardSentinel fully automates protection and provides information on the state of protection nets, streams and other geological threats.

TIR100-2 is a measuring device for the determination of the thermal emission of surfaces. Coated glass, solar collectors or the coating of spacecraft components can thus be precisely and quickly determined. The device is almost unique and is used one world wide.
